Safeguarding

Safeguarding is at the heart of our Christian faith.

We welcome, respect and value members of our community in a safe and caring environment.

Our Safeguarding policies and procedures are up to date with the National Safeguarding Team and the Diocesan Safeguarding Team guidelines.

All relevant members of the church are appropriately trained.

If someone is at risk of immediate harm, call 999 in an emergency.

For all enquiries regarding Safeguarding please contact Karen Glaister, our Parish Safeguarding Officer, at safeguarding@spwm.org.uk

To contact a member of the Guildford Diocese Safeguarding team email: safeguarding@cofeguildford.org.uk or call 01483 790379.

St Peter’s West Molesey have adopted the Church of England “Promoting a Safer Church” Policy Statement, national policies and Practice Guidance approved by the House of Bishops. This policy statement actively underpins all safeguarding within the church.
