Alex and Helen Munro

Alex met Helen far too long ago at University. After a career as a criminal barrister, he began a journey trying to learn how to follow Jesus. On the way, he became a father of four children, began working as a musician for a church, and then trained to become a church pastor and pioneer.

Alex is passionate about helping others know how much God loves them. He enjoys meeting new people, especially if he gets a chance to share a meal with them. Some of his favorite things to do are watching his children play football or do gymnastics. He has great affection for live music, walking with his springer spaniel, baking, and Reading FC!

Helen is a Yorkshire girl at heart but has lived in the south all her adult life.  She is wife to Alex and mum to four kids, who keep her pretty busy!  Helen previously worked at Ford Motor Company before leaving her job and making the move from Essex to Molesey.  Helen supports Alex in leading St Peter’s and loves preparing and giving talks during services.  She also enjoys being able to use her marketing experience to help with St Peter’s social media and promoting events.

 Helen relaxes by socialising with friends and playing with the family pets.  She enjoys gardening but still has a lot to learn about how to keep plants alive!
